JD SPORTS WEBSITE - UI DESIGN

JD is acknowledged as the leading specialist multiple retailer of sports fashion
with over 3400 stores worldwide, combining globally recognised brands such
as Nike and Adidas with strong own brand labels.

The website re-design covers every aspect of the user journey, from homepage
through to checkout. The results of which were used for both the lead UK site
and the (currently) six international local language sites.

 

PREDICTIVE SEARCH

Large search bar function with suggested results,
to increase discoverability.

 

HOMEPAGE

Large impactful brand imagery tells a story throughout the homepage
with related articles and cross-sell product suggestions.

PRODUCT LISTING PAGES

Sticky left hand navigation filters allows user to find products easily.
Feature banners are displayed at the top of each category page.

SMART TABS

Product listings include three tabs for Wishlist, Quickview & Product Rating.
Indicators are shown on selection.

































DYNAMIC MESSAGING

Dynamic delivery product banner reacts based on the product price and cart.
Size CTAs are colour coded based on their availability (online only, instore only etc.)

QUICKVIEW & PRODUCT LISTINGS

Product pages feature 360 degree product previews, and full-width
’King of Trainer’ styled imagery for exclusive / limited edition footwear.

 

DASHBOARD

My account allows users to keep track of their loyalty points when
purchasing more items. Rewards are earned and cross-sell products
are recommended based on previous purchases.

STYLEGUIDE

A clean style allows the photography and brand assets to express
the brand further, as well as complimenting the user’s experience.
